About BME Systems
BME Systems was co-founded by Dr. John Yuen, PhD, Associate Professor at Monash University, Melbourne Australia; and Dr. Michael Co, FRCSEd, Director of MBBS Programme (Assessment) at the University of Hong Kong, in response to the challenges medical students faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pandemic has rendered face-to-face clinical teaching impossible. In 2020, they saw the opportunity to develop a novel state-of-the-art machine learning AI model to help students practice and hone their history taking skills.
Our goal is simple - To improve medical education with modern technology.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create AI for the people, not to replace them. We believe that AI can be used to empower people and make the world a better place. Through the use of AI, we aim to improve access to education, making it more affordable and accessible to everyone, including those in less-privileged areas in the world

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Nikky Ho
Nikky Ho is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in accounting, finance, and business development. Graduating from the prestigious University of Hong Kong with a BBA degree in accounting and finance, Nikky began his career at Deloitte, where he gained valuable experience in auditing and financial analysis.
Building on his expertise, Nikky transitioned to HSBC commercial banking, where he excelled in providing strategic financial solutions to corporate clients. His exceptional performance led to his promotion as a division head, where he successfully managed a team and contributed to the growth and profitability of the division.
Recognizing his passion for driving innovation and supporting the growth of businesses, Nikky ventured into consulting, specializing in the development of start-up companies. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience, he provided valuable insights and guidance to numerous start-ups, helping them navigate challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
Currently, Nikky serves as the co-founder and CEO of BME Innovation, a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
As the co-founder and CEO of BME Innovation, Nikky Ho continues to drive the company's vision, spearheading its growth and ensuring its position as a market leader.
