Benefits
Things that cannot be easily taught by conventional clinical bedside teachings
01
Rare cases
Rare cases are by all means rare, and are rarely seen in wards or clinics. However, medical students do need exposure to rare cases so as to get fully equipped for their challenging lifetime medical career ahead. With our virtual bedside clinical teaching system, clinical tutors could design their own virtual patients with rare clinical conditions.
03
Clinical conditions that are prevalent elsewhere
Patient demographics differ substantially from places to places. Clinical conditions that are common in the West may not be prevalent in Asia. Similarly, tropical infections might be common in certain rural areas of the world, but not in urban and cosmopolitan cities. With our virtual bedside clinical teaching system, clinical tutors could design their own virtual patients with clinical conditions which may not be common to their own locality.
02
Urgent cases
Urgent cases are by all means urgent, and should be urgently attended by medical professionals for resuscitation or immediate treatment. It is extremely difficult for students to have hand-on experience with interaction with emergency cases at conventional clinical bedside teachings. With our virtual bedside clinical teaching system, clinical tutors could design their own virtual patients with extremely urgent medical conditions that requires immediate medical attention.
04
Multilingual support
With the use of GenAI, our system is designed to handle input with different languages and dialects. Clinical teachers can design virtual patients with English or in their own languages, our system is capable in translating it into a human-like conversation in different languages. It is this hassle-free and user-friendly feature that make our system unique. This multilingual feature also enables the use of our system across the world, connecting medical students and teachers worldwide seamlessly.
